The carbon footprint assessment aims to calculate all greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions generated by a company. This assessment gives the company a clear view of its carbon footprint, enabling it to take action to reduce its impact and ultimately contribute to global carbon neutrality.
The carbon footprint assessment may be more or less comprehensive depending on the scope of GHG emissions taken into account:
Scope 1: direct emissions
Scope 2: Scope 1 + indirect emissions related to energy
Scope 3: Scope 2 + other indirect emissions
Dispeo’s ambition is to reduce its carbon footprint. To achieve this, Dispeo has been taking strong action over the past two years to reduce its energy consumption. These commitments were recognised with ISO 50001 certification in June 2022.
